Default Blend Door Actuator

Good morning everyone! So I am in the process of replacing the driver side blend door actuator. And it is the one that sits underneath the transmission hump for my 01 Silverado. My question was, is there a certain way to adjust the actuator **** so that the new actuator can sit on correctly? I moved it side to side from underneath but am I missing something? I am assuming it has to sit flush into the acutator right? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You should be able to flip the door to the correct position in order for the actuator to pop into place(thats what mine did). I did the HVAC recalibration procedure after, just for good measure.

Fiberblade thanks for the tip. I tried adjusting it from the bottom but didn't get the right position quite right. May have been a bit more one way for it to slip on. Also heard of adjusting the climate control to the middle position as well and that may help. Weather is clearing up so may try that here as soon as it allows.
