6.0/4L80E wiring harness for a 6.0/4L60E swap
I just picked up a 05 silverado 2500 2wd with a 6.0/4L80E trans. Going to swap the 6.0 in a silverado 1500 that has a 4.3 in it right now. I'm question can I use the wiring harness from the 2500 for the 6.0 and a 4L60E? The 1500 is 4wd but will be awd. I plan on going to a 4L80E transmission down the road.

might as while go 80e now then later. it been a matter of time for 60 fails. you have engine,tranny and drive shaft ,just take yoke off the 2500 and put on you swap truck drive shaft ,get a ujoint to match(447 ujoint ) and mod the cross member . and get tune

Yes I know I should but right now I want to get the truck put together and a 4L60 would make it easier for the swap to awd. So can I use the wiring harness?
