2000 7.4 454 needs this computer, help!
Hi there.
I have a gmc 2000 GMC C-6500 cab chassis
7.4 454 big block 5speed manual. It was our main sod delivery truck.
I parked it for about 4 months prior to that it performed well and passed emissions. Seemed like a good idea to focus the investment on the c6500 instead of the f650 cat c7 we had at the time too. Long story short the what I thought simple problem is lead to a lengthy diagnoses of the computer being finished. It was sent somewhere in Texas by the mechanic and came back that they couldn't rebuild the thing. Now it's in British Columbia at another computer rebuilder. I can't find this generation of computer used anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions where I can get a used a used 2000 454 7.4 truck,camero, corvette stock ? I'm in Ontario Canada. The part # is 16238212 or 19332289. Disciubtinued at the dealer , and gmpartsdepot.ca , lists the part but cannot get it either. From what I'm gathering it's either get a used one or a rebuild. It's a unicorn so far

That's what I'm thinking too. I've looked for camero ls1 used pcm , no luck. Still searching. I got a response today from a few 454 guys off Kijiji and they are helping with the search.
If you know of any pcms related to what I need let me know.

Ya I gotta show the mechanics all this info this week. I want to get the truck going for sod in a few weeks. I've never bought a thing over eBay. I'll look at that now. I've got some good leads this weekend. Hoping that something will start that engine. Thanks for the leads guys
