09 Silverado big 3 and Mechman Alternator
Looking for some info if any one has any.
Got an 09 Silverado that I'm wanting to do a big 3 upgrade and have a mechman Alternator to install.
Have heard around that there are some things that have to be done or changed wire wise like only grounds to batteries to frame or body grounds.
Anyone have any input??

Just did this on a 2014, same principles. In order to make this work, remove the stock ground cable from battery to frame and engine. Take the surrender sensor off it. Install the alternator with a big positive wire and then and big ground wire from the alternator case stud to the battery negative with the current sensor around it
