I like the idea of a turbo 6.0, 80E and how ever you wanted to do everything else.

make it a single rear axle truck. shorten the bed lift it and put some good size tires under it..you ever seen gearz on speed or truck on spike..when they were doing project "sergent rock"?? id go that direction..here's a pic of it..

I say rewire it, spray it OD Green, new tires, and throw a 12v Cummins in it with the exhaust coming straight out the hood.
It would be too pricey to correctly restore, I would just get it looking and running good.

Ohh and ditch all the wood lol

Love me some old army stuff, helped a buddy lift and put a big block a old ******* then another start his jeep with lift and cummins have a pic of it. would say lift it and diesel the bitch haha

Strip it to a bare frame, restore the running gear, then put a modern body on it. Big motor, then go to the mud drags. 6x6's are just awesome.
