What's a low mile 2005 Sierra 1500 RCLB W/T worth?
I am getting my grandpa's truck ready to sell. It's a 2005 white V6/5 speed RCLB 2wd Sierra 1500 with 60k miles on it. Exterior is maybe a 7/10, interior is probably 8/10. KBB says $4800 for good condition and $5200 for very good condition private party, and Nada says $5000 rough trade, $6000 avg trade, and $7000 clean trade in.
I cannot find anything listed locally on and of the autotrader type sites or Craigslist to compare it to, so I'm kind of shooting in the dark here for a listing price. Any advice or experience is appreciated....have any of you seen, bought, or sold something like this recently?

That'll be a tough sell, the void it fills is on the lower end. If I was searching I would want a high mileage high option truck. I always figure something will break within the first 30 days of a used purchase so I might as well have some creature comforts. In the southeast where values are lower than average that might fetch 4k. I've held on to my 98 RCLB for 7-8 years because I can't get **** for it but it never quits...
Two wheel drive, long bed, and the V6 kill you. List it for 6k and see what happens, someone may need a work truck, CL is a pain but free. Otherwise park it in the shade somewhere and wait for your kid(s?) to get old... My wife has already decided her car is going to my 2 year old lol.

It's gotta sell, my grandma needs the money for a deposit on an apartment. That's why I'm curious what market value is on something like this, just to set a listing price. I want to sell it, and I don't really have a minimum value in mind, just whatever will get it sold. With Nada and KBB being so different, and having no local listings to compare against, I really feel like I'm shooting in the dark here.

I originally listed it for $5800 and got my first call within about 2 hours of posting the ad on CL, and the guy asked why the price was so low...so I jacked it up to $6250. Kept getting calls on it, and it sold on the 3rd day. My grandma was so happy with the amount she started crying. It also sold on the 2nd anniversary of my grandpas death. She kept talking about how he was watching out for her. It felt pretty damn good to see her so happy. Thanks again for the guidance guys
