Launching!
I can't write this in a way you understand obviously so I just won't bother from here on in. All that tech you think magically came about comes from technology created to make industry more efficient.... thus they make more money! The only blind person here is you.... or just uneducated on the topic maybe is the better term. The consumer side you talk about is just a trickle down effect ...... This is pathetic.... buy a Tesla already.

if I could afford a tesla, I would have one. it's a niche market for sure. they look amazing, ride smooth and quiet, push the envelope and are WAAAAY over priced.
I think Tesla may price them as they do just because they are small scale and know they can only produce a certain quantity. if the price point was down around 50k the demand would be more than they can handle. Also, their business model doesn't match many state laws. they do not have dealerships that you purchase from. they have showrooms and you must go to the manufacturer to purchase. many states will not allow the manufacturer to corner the market by selling directly to the consumer.

Fossil fuels are much more cost effective and efficient. Producing the batteries for these cars requires fossil fuels and has a much larger negative impact on the environment.
These cars wouldn't even be in production without govt subsidies. I'll take the slower hellcat.

Yes Tesla vehicles can be pretty quick. Has anyone got really good at modding them to further increase performance? Like shop that will buy the vehicles and put a "package" on it to significantly increase the performance. Either you supply the stock Tesla or they do. Kind of a like a Hennessy Viper?

A good friend has a P90 and a CJ5 and a Tahoe as well. I could definitely see having one as a second or third vehicle but for now the wifes X6 is spendy enough. As for me give me a truck! But yeah maybe in the future for sure but I need a C7 ZO6 first please.
