I asked the rep about the betting when they invited me down.

The betting is between you and the other driver. Discovery has nothing to do with it.
The test hits on public roads are your decision and discovery is not involved.
All cars must pass complete tech and racers have valid racing license.
Car must run sub 6.0 in the 1/8 w proof to race spots 6-10.
Flamboyant personally and catchy cars are more likely to have air time than not.
Guests must provide their own travel expenses and racing costs.

There was a page of rules but that's the jist of it.


Also tuff wasn't the first person to beat the 405 King. Crazy Kelly beat murder nova a couple years ago. That is a way better vid than the tuff one. Shows kelly driving to the racing spot next to the murder nova being trailered.

I still can't stand the 10-12 second race that takes 30 seconds to show with 50 camera angles and NO real car sounds coming through my speakers.

I still watch it. Last season was alot better as it did not have the BS inbetween races.
