Default Possibly my dumbest wrenching move yet

Was adjusting my ebrakes (requires pulling the whole brake assembly off to adjust the cylinder) and got tired of manually removing the bracket bolts. Got my trust 3/8 electric ratchet out (awesome and highly recommended btw). Was backing out at full speed before my dumb *** backed it directly into the leaf! Cant reverse the ratchet as the switch is on the back of the head blocked by the leaf.

tried that with vice grips. No go as the bolts is a very tight fit to turn. You can see the marks on the head in the picture. I'm thinking I'm probably going to have to undo the u bolts and let the axle hang down a bit to get it off

I wasn't even going to try cutting the bolt, it's grade 10.9

I wonder how easy a sawzall would go thru the socket.

No room to get the cutoff in there

Probably easier than the bolt.

Might be able to release just enough pressure to get it un-stuck.

Pry between the ratchet and the spring kinda side ways and it shoukd come off, or at least relieve eniugh tension to allow you to flip the switch on the ratchet, done it before... Talking and forgot i needed to keep an eye on the ratchet and ended up in same situation....
