I saw this posted on another forum and tend to agree:
"The EPA was established to enforce environmental rules regulations that were passed by congress (clean air act, clean water act, etc...), but over the last 40 years they have slowly become more and more powerful and now they create there own rules without the consent of congress, yet no one has done anything about it. "

California members please chime in but, the way I understand it, at least some cops there can stop you and are somewhat trained to ID unauthorized parts and modifications then site accordingly.

It was geared more toward the import crowd than anything.
They still need probable cause. Speeding, Swerving, incorrect lighting, and so on. They can't pull you over because they think you modified the car.

Worse part of this is the greenhouse gases vehicles produce, that are overwhelming harmful(nox) is a by product of the catalytic converter abd the epa and govts restrictions on how high mog on certain platforms can be.... Epa needs to focus on the factories, and cattle that actually put more harnful crap into the atmosphere then a well tuned vehicle does.... I saw a pie chart a while back about what percentage of greenhouses gases were produced my which collective entitiy.... Vehicle emissionswere less than 1% cattle farms were between 5-10% and factories were something around 75%... Time for the democraps to get gone...

I'm Army. It's just like them constantly going after our pay and benefits to solve their money problems. It's easier to attack us individuals (and in our case we cant fight back easily). There is so much more waste than soldier payroll.

Thats an ongoing problem though... This retard we call our president his first 6 months in office spent more than some dictators and kings have theyre entire reign and then decide to print what was it 13 trillion dollars to flood the economy without the gold in the reserve to back it up... Essentially making the dollar worthless!!! Democrats feel that if everyone is on government assistance essentially they will be able to do whatever they want.... I had a triple bypass almost 2 yeas ago now, asked social services for some help til i recovered wnd went back to work... Was told i had already made too much that year to qualify, how in the hell does that work??? I was out of work for 2 months with no pay and somehow my short term disability got screwed up, so i had nothing coming in for two months, and to boot had my oldest son living with me!! Screw this government!!!
