I joined over there not long ago because I had an LS1-swapped '97 Suburban I needed help with, being fairly new to LS engines. A few people did genuinely try to help but it did feel like the real experts were long gone. Didn't get too far with the truck and thankfully I ended up selling it before I got too upside-down in someone else's nightmare half-finished project.
A lot of the very niche-oriented sites can be tricky. I'm on SilveradoSS forums as well and it's a cool site although it was funny being called a *** by some dork because I also own a Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum, and he also used that to imply I was just there to troll and didn't even own a Silverado SS.
