If you want an easy intro into writing code, write some macros in excel with VBA. Rather limited in the grand scheme of things, but it lets you get your feet wet without being too difficult worrying about other things like compilers, libraries, classes, etc.

It's never to late to go back to school. There are plenty of resources online so keep that in mind and keep at it. I myself am in the IT field right now but would like to move over to a network side of things so working on my CCNA as well as VMware VCP.

Shout out to the fellas in uniform fighting the good fight in the name of America. This country wouldn't be what it is had people like yourselves not chosen this path.

I think you are all badasses and I jump on every opportunity to brag about our soldiers. Makes me want to go back and have some do-overs, I would have chosen something different.

Navy, Army, AF, Marines, all of you guys who served or currently involved, I salute you.

I hate that this thread died. Hopefully some armed forces people will come and make themselves known with the thread bump. Wish you nothing but the best.

I work for a national railroad shuttling people from A to B. Going on 1.5 years there and I enjoy it so far, hopefully be up front running as opposed to being in the back within a few years.
