Looking for a good street tire that will hook decent. Thinking of trying the nitto 421q. Ran the nitto 420s a long time ago, but don't really remember if they hooked up well are not, I do remember them being good in the rain and were quiet.

I have general uhp- pretty quite on the road but with a lot of power these days the tires wear pretty quick being 2wd if I was easier on them I might get 10000 miles out of the rear tires-

In rain there good no hydro planning- they seem to hook better worn out with 8psi of boost not tire pressure

i looked but the ones that have my eye are the hankook rh06. they seem to have really good reviews but i dont have and experience with them.

Think Im gonna go with the hankooks ventus st rh06 and keep my all terrain tires I currently have and put them on during the winter time. For the money they have the best reviews.

The nittos are better tires then any others you listed. I run the NT420s on my tundra. They seem to stick good, until they start to get bald (like mine). Even then, they start to slip and TC takes over anyway.

my biggest thing with those is they look like they would hydroplane in wet weather from the large blocks.

The nitto I have seen allow a 1.80 60' and the driver thought there was more left in them. That's what I'd be running. They had a 295/45r18. Not the drag radial but the next tire up... I forget the model off hand. NT555 or something. Hell in a light enough car you may even get away with the 555r
