Sept. TOTM winner: trever1t

I purchased this truck in August of 2005 on a whim, trading in my 2003 Sierra 4.8L for the larger 5.3L HO engine and off-road package during GM’s employee price sale.
Originally I wanted to do a Fabtech 6” lift and ride on Super Swampers but after coming to PT.net I realized my dream was not to play in the mud but to build a fast, dependable truck, The hotrod of my dreams .
I looked at hundreds of trucks on this site; I read about parts and listened to your comments about those trucks. I modded my truck, in my own my way, with your help. I feel I owe a debt of gratitude to all of you that have offered advice and comments as it has progressed.

All of this is riding on Weld “Dune 6” wheels wrapped with 285/60/17 Toyo Proxes with repeated custom tuning by Rick at Synergy Motorsports.
I am a long way from completing this project; don’t know if I’ll ever be finished, it seems like there is always something that can be done and never enough money to do it.
