Congrats brother, sick truck!!
In October of 1999 in purchased a new truck never thinking it would become what I have today. I don't have any pictures of the stock truck because the week after I bought it I installed a 2/4 lowering kit and a roll pan.
After that I started working to make it faster. I then added a Whipple supercharger, Yank 3000 converter and ASM header.
That was never enough and soon a crate Lq9 was installed and the Whipple was sold. Before the motor was installed I had the heads ported and installed a Futral motorsports F5 cam. Once the motor was installed I wanted just a little more power so I add a dry nitrous kit.
At that point I was satisfied with the performance and wanted to make it look as good as it ran. I added a set of 18x9.5 Weld Velocity sixes and a tonneau cover and hit the road for the Hot Rod Power Tour.
No good project is ever finished so I then had a Futral motorsports 408 built and a direct port nitrous kit installed on top of that.
With all that power the truck had traction and I got kicked out of a few tracks for not have a cage. That only left one option, so I had a cage installed along with a new 4 link suspension. While that was add I made a new fuel system for the truck and a installed a TH 400 transmission.
That only leaves one thing left to say and what you see now in the first 9sec NBS Chevy truck.
That is how the truck is now, it has been a long seven years. I sure I left things out but no one want to spend the next three days reading all of it.
Many thanks go out to the people that have put up me while building this truck and the people who have spend countless hours helping me including; Futral Motorsports-Allen, Mark and Marcus for the chassis, and my parents.
