Trailblazer 2wd oil pan options

Ended up goin with a vette pan setup from Fast Motorsports. You use the c6 pan, dipstick along with your original crank scraper windage tray thing. And the cross member needs a lil bit of cutting and gets changed out. Well engines done and ready to rock and roll!! Here it is..

They told me to flip it around and modify slightly. They also make a cross member you can purchase if you don't feel comfortable making the needed modifications. Don't forget to knock the dipstick plug out of block before it goes in.

We have a very simple solution as well...instead of changing out the whole pan/etc we have our own pickup tube which fixes the problem (what GM should have done from the start). Instead of picking up in the front of the pan, it picks up in the middle where it is the most deep, so no more starvation. Cheaper too than doing the C6.

pan
mine has a custom Milidon pan with a remote oil filter mounted to the front crossmember. I will try to get some pictures of it tomorrow. You will love the 402... they have some serious grunt! Hard to hook mine with the 3600 convertor and 4.10's, but it will still go 12.80's on regular radials. Engine is really mild, Alvin did the cam for it.
