Check out LED headlight bulbs. I made the switch after using hid. I love them so far, I got tired of replacing ballast and messing with the hid kits.

my hids are from spencers hid but they are a pretty penny. never had one problem or miss fire.

led plate lights would need to look at superbrightled.com or there is one more but forgot it. just find what bulb it takes and google for it in led.

Bulb size is 194 for the plate. I run 10K HID's with 0 issues both Low beams and Fogs.

No, that's higher than 10k, it's like 12-14K is when you get the purple.

Can you even see at night or is it a daytime truck only?
I lol every time someone with 6-12K headlights gets up next to me.
Can't even tell they have lights on.
Mine completely wash their out.
