Default Back in my old 2006 TBSS

I recently got the chance to buy back my 2006 TBSS, with 69,000 miles. The only problem is it is knocking, and I think stacked a rod bearing on #7. We pulled the spark plug and the electrode was crushed. So now she is back home and waiting for a hellova makeover!

I bought the TBSS new in late 2006 and with a K&N, muffler and superchip programmer it went 13.64 @ 99.

I'm hoping to build a 402 or 408 with l92 heads and intake (or maybe LS3 intake), long-tubes, off road y-pipe, BIG cam, c6 pan and 3500-4000 stall.

Any ideas or opinions on aftermarket parts is greatly appreciated!

Well put down my down payment on the 402, got a c6 pan & A/C bracket, cam, ls3 heads with trunnion upgrade..
Now just need to drop the coin on headers and y-pipe, spal E-fans, converter and figure if I'm going 4L80e or try to make the 4L70e work for a while.

Thanks LowSilver.

I decided on going with the 4L80E (had one) and I bought the transgo HD2, I also got a stall from Circle D, I went the 4L80 LS Pro Series Stage II 258mm 3B (3200-3400, Circle D is a great company to deal with). I also just received the Kooks 1 7/8 headers and the Kooks Y-pipe. now just gotta get the motor back and make an order to PCM of NC and get the spal fans and relay, and put it back together..

Here are some pics of the TBSS.. And the # 7 piston, along with the comparison of the KOOKs longtubes and the Texas Speed & Performance longtubes (used on my 09 GMC)
