275/55/20's will be a for sure fit, those are what come stock on 20in rims on new silverado/sierra/tahoe etc etc etc.

A 285/50/20 should fit too and the larger the width the go the shofter sidewall height you will need. You may have to trim the very corner of the front plastic bumper to fit some sizes and some may only touch on full lock turns in a tight parking lot.

I run 305/50R20 Nitto 420's on my truck with 20X9 wheels. I have my torsion bar cranked down a inch or 2 to boot. The tires did hit the inner fender a little but I just heated it up with a heat gun and made a little more room. It probably will come down to your backspacing more than anything if you rub or not

No I'm lowered. I leveled my truck by putting drop shackles in the back. Up front I backed out the torsion key adjustment bolts several turns. My truck basically rides on the jounce bumpers up front and I clear 305/50R20s. If you lifted the front on your truck to level it you should be able to clear a pretty good size tire if the backspacing is right.

Depends on the look you are trying to achieve. My wheels are a +27. If you are lifting the front 2" you probably don't need that much of a positive offset with a street tire. If you do a wheel with a negative offset and a off road tire, I wouldn't be surprised if you rub at full lock.
