Your not really welding until:
1. Set yourself in fire
2. Drop some red hot cherries into your armpit
3. Sunburn so bad you peel
4. 3rd degree burn because you grab the piece of metal you just welded without gloves and it sticks to you.

I wish i would have found a deal like that, i bought this: 170 Amp-DC, 240 Volt, MIG/Flux Cored Welder

on cybermonday, not a big fan of harbor fright but couldnt pass up a welder at 167 bucks and reviews looks ok

i hope it will cover my exhaust and other small projects at home

added a few other items, the magnet ground seemed like a good idea

TXSilverado, so how are you going to refurb it and what will it cost? Are you sending it back to Miller?

No refurb necessary. Just need a 230 plug adaptor and regulator/hose. A new gun is just over 100 but i may be able to fix the one i have. Otherwise everything is there and works.

Until i get ghe 230 adaptor i can weld on 110

Gun is fixed. Trigger was just a lil gummed up. Pulled out the trigger and pb blasted it and worked it out. All i need is a regulator, hose and gas now. Fucked around with it just to try out my helmet and the spatter is horrible wo gas lol
