also throw a WTB ad up on HPT. there are a ton of them on www.car-part.com but most say to call for pricing. they all know that a 5.3 goes for 5-600.

I dont get why they sell those engines so cheap. I just sold my 5.3/4l60 tcase for $2600

The 99-07 4.8/5.3's are just so common, thats why they arent alot of money.

I could see like a low miles 2010+ motor or something from a wrecked truck going for 2,000+ with trans and T-case but whoever spent 2600 on a motor/trans combo with a 60e got raped hard.

someone actually bought an 11 year old engine/trans for 2600? wow. I paid less than that for a forged short block from a reputable builder. down here, a 90k mile 5.3 complete intake to oil pan with a wire harness and pcm goes for around $1000. thats a lot.

got my lq9 long block for $1200 in 2009. I would've just kept looking for one on tech.

I don't think a complete engine (intake, covers, brackets, etc) with harness and pcm going for $1k is too much. You could get that money by parting it all out.
