Will have it done soon and can report back. Likely going with the Viper. That shop definitely isn't the cheapest around but from talking about it with them I feel like they're going to do a good install job, which is worth paying for.

My old '92 from forever ago; this truck had an alarm, too:






I think you can see the alarm module sitting on the floor there in the midst of the rest of the trash. The doors had been modded to prevent them being jimmied under the handle so after tearing both doors up they finally just bricked the glass and snatched the module loose.
