This was a minimum effort box. After my last system got stolen (5 channel JL on a beautiful custom amp rack and 1 square kicker) I decided to put as little effort into this one as possible. Houses 2 Infinity Kappa Perfects (craigslist buy for $100) nearly to their recommended air space. Stuffed a bunch of polyfill in the cabinet and it sounds pretty good. Wrapped it with astro turf and called it a day. I know the day I pull off the astro turf and wrap it properly some jack *** will bust my window and steal it again.

I'll post mine up soon. Waiting on sub to get here. Looking to build a box to replace the factory cushion for the "20" seat and using the factory fabric to cover it for a total stealth install in my 2003. I will be using a Sundown SD-2 8". Need to keep that area as a seating option. My other reg. cab I built a full custom console up to the dash - held 2-10" memphis subs covered in dark gray vinyl to mimic the factory interior of my 2000 silverado. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of that box but it was a basic rectangular box built for the 10's - then a couple of braces to shim it off the floor (subs were downfiring) then took 1/8" masonite to make the contours on the side and top. Added cup holders and made it tall enough to use as an arm rest as well.

2 8's downfiring, ported/tuned to 32hz out the sides of the box, seats go almost all the way back still, plenty of room for me (6'1") plays low notes very very well. It's different, not muffled sounding since the subs fire into open space below the seats instead of the back of the seats. Maybe not for everyone but it works for me.

Can you guys still move the seats all the way back with these boxes? I Drive my truck with the seat bottom slid all the way back and the seat back against the rear of the truck.

I've got a pair of Kicker Comp RT10's behind the seat of a 97 Reg cab as well as a 2010 reg cab. Both seats are all the way back. Plenty of bass.

Just bought the truck a few weeks ago fist thing I wanted was to upgrade the system mines a 08 single cab couldn't find but 1 style prebuilt box and did not like it because I was told I would lose my center belt.
So had my box custom built and the quality is outstanding.
I'm running 4 10" diamond subs and amp pushing just over 1200 watts.
sounds amazing. 1 directly behind drivers seat 2 behind passenger and 1 right behind arm rest leaving a gap for the seat belt assembly. amp is under the passenger seat I'll try and get a pic tomorrow for you guys.
just had this all done today thought I would share with you guys.
