I've visited a couple of audio sites. The choices seems endless. Pioneer, alpine, sony, boss, Jensen, kicker, Kenwood, NVX, well that's just a few.

Back in the day I had a 6.5in Boston Acoustic component set. (I know, not exactly 6x9)

I liked them and they sounded amazing.

What are you putting them in?
I nearly always recommend making a plate for 6.5" components.
I use a lot of Polk, as far as brand preference. Personally as a rule, I will not buy speakers from Head unit manufacturers.

I just installed some kicker KS coaxial 6x9's in my RAM and an very happy with the way they perform on stock HU power.
