I was hoping for 11's. I hit the rev limiter on my best 2 passes in 2nd gear. I have no idea how much that cost me. If it was just a little cooler I maybe had a chance at 11's.

So you went 12.7's before the STS, and 12.4's with it? Only three tenths from a Turbo? What am I missing?

Nice times none the less. That's hauling ***. Congrats!

I would imagine he has severe traction issues. It takes alot of practice with a manual and turbo to keep traction and stay off the rev limiter. His mph is good for mid 11s. Just has to get the power to the ground. It will come with time and practice.

My bad it was 114 not 112. The big difference on this day from the 12.7 run was weather. Temp was more the 30 degrees warmer and we went from a Negative DA to a postive 1500 feet. I couldn't get my 60's down. On the 12.7 I was able to get 1.8's. Best this time was 1.9.

I figured as much, but when he said 112mph that was about right for the ET. Actually, 114 isn't all that high mph for 12.4 with street tires. I've been 11.6x @ 123 (on nitrous spraying in 2nd and 3rd), so I didn't really sense the mph being that high. (Those times were obviously in my car, not my truck ). None the less, that thing is really moving! I'm sure 11's are right around the corner. It seems as tho the power is definately there.

If he can get the 60' down it coud definately be in the 11.6-11.7 range. Your 123 could sqweak you into the 10s with a really good 60'. I've gone 11.35 at 118 with a 1.68 60'.
