Ok Mike now I'm really pumped. I went ahead and bought a 2014 GMC RCSB 4WD. Until I recover I'll need one of your tunes soon so the tranny lasts. Then later...hmmm. Whipple 2.9 or twins? We will talk sir!

LOL ^^^.
Just figured I would come in here and give an update, after testing these turbos, we are not 100% satisfied with our results. The spool time with turbos this big that are journal bearing was too slow, and we found out how restrictive the stock exhaust system really is which affected this as well. Granted some people already have higher flowing exhaust systems, or maybe don't minding installing electric exhaust cutouts, we truly want to make sure we are building a kit that performs on a stock truck with lightning fast spool up time and maximum street friendly horsepower. We have selected a new turbo that we have some more experience with, Borg Warner EFR series turbos are the new turbos we will be using on this kit. This is what we have on my 2012 Sierra (see my other build threads in this section), but we are going one step smaller for the quicker spool time. We will be using the EFR 6758 turbos (54mm), these are ball bearing turbos, have the t304 stainless housings, are internally gated, and have internal recirculation valves as well as an integrated boost control solenoid valve. These features alone, make for an easier installation, as well as easier jigging and repeatability for a proper fitment on our end. We have recently used these turbos on a 2007 5.3 tt build in a Silverado and the spool time was amazing, and they still support 900 flywheel horsepower for those that may want to turn it up! The new turbos will be here on Wednesday, we will get them hung up asap, I know there has been a lot of interest in this kit, and I just want to make sure we get it right!

No, they will not add to the cost of the kit, it should end up being exactly the same because they include the wastegates (internal), recirculation valves (internal), and reduce the cost of materials as well as labor for us to build a kit.

I don't have the exact answer to that question until redo the hot side of this kit, but if I were to guess, retail is going to be around $7500-$8000, and I will most likely run an intro sale which I don't know the details on yet as well.

You making the spool time faster for more low end makes this even more appealing to me. I really like that you are focused on that. This alone makes me choose this kit over anything else out there, as I think it will actually help with towing.

Also will the tie in from the down pipes be 3" or larger? im debating on buying a catback and a guy local to me has a new MBRP 3.5" 6.2 cat back I might buy if I can make it work with your kit.
