Awesome! my trans is flaring on the 3-4 shift, I am saving as we speak for a level 7 and circle d multi disc, are you really happy with the 2600 stall speed? is it the 2500-2700 RPM 1B? what size converter?

i guess it would technically be a 65e.....1-2 shift is very firm......if i get aggressive it chirps the tires...i already see a 3 mpg savings over my performabuilt trans and converter. my converter is a 265mm 1A it is a night and day difference from my performabuilt...it hits hard and pulls hard... very responsive!!!

performabuilt died a cruel death.....after the second time i moved on. blew up the first one in one week. the second lasted about 5 years. lost OD then after a year of that 1-2 shift got nonexistent. moved on to finish line and circle D!!

I have a 2800 stall in my silverado and its perfect. Just dont get one of those small torque converters, stay full size. Thats what I would suggest from my experiences.
