Well about damn time right?!! Big thanks to Jake at Jakesperformance for new 4l80E thats getting the job done.

The break down of the night went like this. First pass the 2-step didn't catch, so I let it go at 4400RPMS/17psi boost. Tire couldn't hold it and I got a little over excited and shifted early (5900 on both shifts) Ran 11.0 with a 1.61 60.
Next pass, got the 2-step online at 3700, but still the tires let out and had to lift and hit it again. Ran 10.94, 1.63, still getting excited and shifted early at 6k. Last pass turned the boost up a turn, ended up being around 18psi, shifted at 6700 bouncing off the 1/2 limiter, 6k on the 2-3, ran 10.88@125. 2-step was at 3600 and cut a nice 1.56 dead hooking.


Not bad for 100% street trim minus hoosiers on rear, truck with me in it comes in around 4600. Made the 5 Hour round trip home and had a damn good time. She's got more left, but for now I'm very happy..

Bravo sir... I know you've been chasing this for a while. 10's in anything is a feat in itself but a full weight street truck with a baby 4.8 is really something to brag about... Go get some 10.50's

I still say a stock 4.8 shortblock has the capability of going single digits in a truck... Prove me right
