Default Problem with burning plug wires with old style Dynatech Headers

I have the old style Dynatech headers on my 2003 Silverado SS and I have a constant problem of burning plug wires on cylinder #5 and #7, #5 seem to happen the most.

The problem is with the "hump" in the primary there is no good way to route the plug wires on those cylinders without having the wire touch the primarys. I have tried using fiberglass sleeves but that only delays the inevitable.

I included a picture below to better show. I have tried routing the plug wires outside the primary between the steering shaft but after turning the wheel a few times it pulls the plug wire out.

Any ideas for you guys that have these headers?

Get a universal set with 90d and 45d boots. One of them will solve your problem.

Different guys have found different solutions for this, one of the best that I can remember is where the dude made a bracket that bolted to the head that was U shaped to hold the wire off of the header. There was a thread with pics a while back, a little searching should hopefully yield the pics.
