I got to drive the turbo'd 4.3l i've been working on. i got to say the thing is, well, SICK. i couldn't believe it. he got the boost controller in and is running 12psi. its pretty stupid. the mpt70 turbo is in full boost by about 3500rpm or so and it just gets it. we have to do a gear swap though. he can do 70+ mph in second gear(nv3500) the clutch seems to be holding strong. he blew the stock one apart. it was kinda funny. now he got a spec clutch in there. i think i'm going to do some tuning on it tomorrow so i will try to get a vid up for you guys.
well we got to play with a buddies 350Z. i got a couple vids. they are short but its something. this one was at 12psi with the 350z on all motor. you can see how bad the truck needs gears. in the time it took to shift and get back to boost the 350 was able to catch up and pass us. but you can hear that 3rd gear chirp. remember this is a 5spd truck. nv3500 http://videos.streetfire.net/video/a...43L_700455.htm
this one the 350 was running a 75 shot and we turned the boost up to about 13psi. not quit 2bar. again look how when he shifts the truck just looses it all. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/4...g-a_700454.htm
all in all not too shabby i think. i think with gears and the clutch hydro line replace with the new -4AN line it will do better. he needs a short shifter but we can't find one for his truck. so if you guys no of one let us know please.
i think he is scared to shift too fast after breaking his stock clutch. plus its got the stock 3ft throw shifter. we are going to replace the stock clutch line with a new less restrictive -4an line like the f-body guys do.
