Default 4.6 is a TURD

4.6 is a turd!!!!!
i know this is no new news to most folks,but.
my brother just bought a 98 nascar edition
i have done some searches to get some more POWA for this 4.6 and i havent come up with much info,other than the "PI" heads.
i really dont think he wants to do that much,well i know "I DONT"
i really dislike ford and there SOHC.
any info???

"my brother" is the sucker not me.
i tried and tried to get him to steer towards a chevy and he just will not do it.
i did tell him though,that when the 4.6 motor doesnt hold up and he gets tired of the 4.6 we would put him in a "old 283" and he would be more impressed,and he would never buy another FORD.

ford's mod motors have no power unless you force feed them. esp in a heavy truck. they do good in a light vehicle but so do 4cyls.

just not there new vehicles, 69 429 torino, high 14 low 15 advertised 1/4 mile, and thats with 4:10's, stock of course, there engines were titanic in weight, well so was mopars and they ran great, ask me how i know....i will forever miss my 69 rt charger 440.......

My first car was a 71' Torino. It was a lot of fun when i was young! I'm not a fan of the new motors and there only getting worse imo!
