I have a 2002 Tahoe fully forged 6.0 with a kenne bell 2.2 side mount and ran a 12.4 with my 4l60 blew up 4th gear and now put in a 4l80 i was running 10 pounds of boost now to make up for the 50 hp loss with the 4l80 I put in a set of 410 gears and i will be running 17 inch wheels with 255 40 17 tires, instead of 275 55 20, a 2.5 inch pulley to make about 14 pounds of boost an inercooler more meth a kenne bell boost a pump an ls6 valley cover for better crank case venting a lock up 3000 vig and a led foot at the track hope to hit the 11 second mark I will be at the dyno in a couple weeks I will keep you guys updated. I think it will have about 550hp 550tq but the dyno means nothing just for tuning purposes. Its alll about the quater mile. My truck is very heavy z71 package full stereo I will post weight also. I live in Canada tracks open next month I would love to come down to some tracks in the states anybody know of any close to the Ontario border.

Hello my friend - how are things? I just got the Yank put in and man does the Escalade ever launch now. Too bad is has been snowing like crazy and 40 below (getting better now). At any rate, very happy with the Yank, just as advertised, hope all is well with your Tahoe and you get down into the 11s!

And also hope you sound system is pounding! Got any pics yet? I bet it looks damn sweet!

Take Care.

Derrick

The future might have something for me to post here, if I don't blow myself up.
I am building a forged 540cid Gen-VI Big Block with 8.0:1 compression.
That will get forced with a 3.4L Intercooled Whipple (custom 10-rib) making 10psi on 91.
The math is mind boggling - HP into four digits. It should get the job done...

My 83 suburban ran an 11.07 with my old motor. My new motor is a 540 big block with 2 4788 turbos that will hopefully make around 2000 hp. Here are a couple of old videos.
