With the radix I couldnt stick it from a dig to around 30. With the turbo I can nail it from a dig then about 35 - 40 it goes completely sideways. Both make stupid power that these trucks werent designed to have. You just gotta figure out where you want the power at. Off idle for towing = radix, crazy mid to top = turbo.......

The new kits may level the playing field some, but you will need a front inlet jack shaft that is over driven to get it up there without getting belt slip like crazy, not to mention an 8 rib conversion.

I think the Radix is a great product, and I recomend them to people all the time. How ever I won't be thinking about giving up my little T76 until I see a boost only Magnacharger equiped daily driven 4x4 run faster than mid to low 10's, and 60' better than 1.43 @5000' elv 6.0l

Just depends on what you want. The Radix cannot be beat for bolt it on and go fun hp that will rip the tires from a dig. Makes for a good street vehicle/truck. If you want to be a 1/4 mile warrior be it street or track then the turbo will not be beat. Just ask the guy with the quickest/fastest Silverado SS on the planet, on 22's at 5850lbs. none the less.

Problem was it was too small for the 6.0 with a 3.0 pully I was getting 8# when it wasnt slipping the belt. It also made a crap load of heat and would fall off on the top end.

I swapped over to turbo, and with a gt72 at 11# was hitting 2.0-2.1 60' but was alot faster. That was with an extremely rich tune that was hurting power. 10:1 AFR. The power delivery is completely different. Both setups have their pros and cons. The turbo is more maintenance, and has had more problems than the Radix did, but the turbo has alot more potential.
Thats the reason I sold my radix, great kit just gets too hot on a 6.0 when you pulley down. Since you dont have a 6.0 just keep the radix man. I will give ya a shout when im in the area again.
