Hopefully your using EFI Live, cause HPtuners does not have the AC pressure adjust needed to control the second fan correctly....

One of my impala fans gave out and I want to step it up to the 34" rad w/ the bigger efans. Would really like to do this right this time around.

Here are some diagrams I have.
#1 similiar to Nelson Harness

#2 similiar to 05+ Gm Harness

#3 05+ Gm Harness

#4 05+ Gm Harness, I Modified for 2 fuses

The first one uses the ac as a trigger while the other three use the two pin setup. Not sure who uses #2.

Thanks man. installing the 34"rad and fans shouldn't be too much of a hassle if at all but wasn't sure how to get them running. I didn't want to use the same wiring as now and have them running constantly. Did you make your own harness or mod one?

I made my own..

you can use Pin 33 and 42....

on EFI Live you go to System > A/C > Parameters
{G0106} A/C Auto Recirculatoin - Fan #2 Control

Then go to System > Fans> Parameters
{G1203} Type of Fans Fitted To vechicle - Series Parallel Fans

This is how the stock Fbody tune is setup..

here is my Fan settings BTW

run the wire thats suppose to go to the AC ground to the PCM pin 33 and activate it in the tune and Vola..

I know HPT is different, but you get the idea?

I think the point is that you posted a wiring harness diagram that won't work using pin 33.
