Default Cams for sale: Comp xr269hr, LPE GT2-3, Futral F-6

The first 2 cams are out and ready to sell. The 3rd is still in my truck. I might sell it if someone expresses interest. I'll take 250 plus shipping for the comp or LPE cam. I'll take 275 plus shipping for the F-6. I'll be out of town for work from Sunday 9-8-08 to Friday 9-12-08, so I won't be able to ship them out until then. Paypal is ok. I might trade the F-6 for a bigger cam depending on what it is. Thanks.

Here are the specs for each cam

Comp Cams XTREME RPM XR269HR - 216/220 - .525/.532 w 1.7 rocker - 114 LSA Hydraulic roller - Great mid-range with superior top end power. Needs computer modifications. RPM range 1300 - 6300.

Cam Number Duration @ .050 Valve Lift Rocker Arm Centerline
LS1-GT2-3 207 / 220 .571" / .578" 1.7 ratio 118.5
Tests on the LS1-GT2-3 have shown 25-30 HP improvements over factory LS1, LS2 camshafts and this camshaft can be used in 350 CID - 427 CID applications. This camshaft also works well in supercharged or turbocharged applications.

FMS- F6-112 FMS Custom Grind Camshaft - 226"/230" .575"/.595" 112LSA - semi-aggressive profile with a 2000-6800 RPM range, rough idle

GT2-3 sold. I'm in no hurry to get rid of the F-6, because I will have to get another cam to put in before I pull it. If anyone is interested let me know and we can work something out, but it will probably be a little bit before I pull it. Thanks.

I have it in a 6.0. I'm pretty sure I can go quite a bit bigger. My stall is pretty loose behind the 6.0,I have 4.10s, and around 11-1 compression with the heads I have. I think with a good stall and gears this cam would pull hard in a 5.3. I have 5.3 heads on my truck milled down to 60cc chambers and have not had any piston to valve clearance problems.

very interested in the f-6 if it would be a good cam for my 6.0 denali. I do have 3.73's and factory tc, but i would look at an aftermarket tc... what do you think?

It would probably be a little on the big side for a vehicle that heavy. It depends on how much bottom end you are willing to lose. I have a yank pro truck 3200 in my truck (RCSB).I probably wouldn't recommend anything much lower than that, but you can't go a lot higher due to needing the larger clutch surface area for a vehicle that big. Let me know if you get serious. I am going to have to try and get a better idea on my PTV clearance, and probably order a custom cam with under .600 lift. Thanks.
