Default Raced an SRT-10 Today

Nothing terribly exciting, but I raced an SRT-10 today. Unfortunately it wasn't a terribly spectacular race as he ran out of room(car in front of him).

We both hit it at about 50 and he pulled a full truck real quick on me and I stopped his pull at about 80. I started pulling slowly but surely on him. He ended up letting off around 90. It was a quick race, and I lost(it would have been interesting if we had gotten to race up to at least 110), but it was a nice start to the day.

I didn't get to talk to him, but we both gave the thumbs up and went our separate ways. It looked just like a stock single cab srt-10. I was impressed with my truck, but I really need more converter and some 4.10s. I really need to buy my nitrous kit.

Nice run man! Where's your sweetspot when racing from a roll? Next time you'll hopefully get some more room to put at least a bumper on him.

Pretty high unfortunately. I'd say around 60-65. My converter really isn't helping get my truck into it's powerband. It is rated at 3200 but it was meant to be in a tbss. It only stalls to about 2800 or so before I break the tires loose. I'm thinking about sending it in to get it re-stalled another 1000 rpms higher.

My truck is nothing special, but it was cool to hang right with a srt-10 even though it was 3/4 of a truck behind him.

LOL, yea I remember that day. That was the first time I had been in any 12 second car/truck though. I'm trying to save my pennies for an f-body. I may buy the nitrous kit as a birthday present for myself.
