I've decided to lift the veil of secrecy around my twin build up (translation: finally got batterys for the camera and decided I take the pics BEFORE going out to work on the truck for 10 hours...)
Here we go:
Since I'm moving to Rochester NY, I added the ability to add cats to the exhaust stream or run straight pipes on track days. I used Magnaflow spun metallic race cats and Stainless Works long tubes.
Let me tell you how much fun it was to make this crossover... I had this silly idea of keeping all the exhaust up inside the frame of the truck, because I hate seeing stuff hanging randomly down. Yes, my berserker-perfectionism caused me a lot of grief here -- especially in creating the compound curves necessary to get the passenger side exhaust over to the x-pipe with the big ass 4L80E transmission in the way...

Here's the hidden exhaust in all it's hidden, pita, headache inducing glory:
Getting the x pipe to the mufflers...
The whole schmeer:
Those are Magnaflow 4" bullets by the way. On to the TURBOS...
Yep... still fabbing the wastegates (ok -- still picking the location for the wgs lol). I did have to use the BFH a bit for some adjustment to run the exhaust through here...
YAY!!!

And now, to talk about the parts that I spent the most ridiculous amounts of time on... Looks simple, right?... Heh. I did the baloney cuts on the tips with a hand held cut off wheel.
From the wheel well:
I almost burned the truck to the ground over this next pic... This is the clearence between the caltrac bar (that I'd forgotten was not installed when I fabbed the tips...) at ride height... At full droop, let's just say I can pick traction or exhaust from the turbos...
Turbo exhaust (and nice view of 13.5" tires )
The difficulty with mounting the turbos side-facing is a little thing called a drive-shaft... Here's my solution -- COBRAHEADs
And here's my version of twin cold air snorkels..
Finally a crappy pic of the turbos, top-down.
Th-th.. th-th-th... th-that's all folks For now...
