ok, i lied. we got the cam in and are going to fire it up in a few minutes. it is an 01 z06 cam. dyno is scheduled for 8pm tomorrow and we plan on turning it up to the same boost as before. should be a neat before and after test.

well damit, dont leave me hanging jim, what did it do?
i said that i lied, not going till tomorrow
we did go out and check the tune up to 9psi. we had to pull about 4% fuel up till 4000rpm and add about 7% fuel above 5000rpm. that would seem to go along with what you would expect.
This is interesting........
Another low budget mod???
$75 for the cam and a few bucks for the water pump gaskets so yeah, petty low buck. another $75 for the dyno but that is only because i have this need to see before and after numbers. it will probably cost more to tow the car to the dyno(fuel) than the parts cost.
how did you coax the dyno guys to come in on sunday???! my local dyno just laughs if they are asked to work after 5, let alone weekends
our dyno guy is the best. he is super cheap and open at non traditional hours. his hours are prety much "not before 2pm". we have been down there till 4am before. only bad thing is he is about 50 miles away but it's worth the drive.
