General Site Guidelines
These Guidelines apply to all sections. Note that each section may have additional guidelines related directly to that section. These rules will be updated as the need arises.

Avatars
-The size limit is 100 by 120 pixels or 23.4 KB
-Avatar pictures need to fit the PG-13 guidelines. No suggestive pictures please.

Signatures
-They need to be limited to 8 lines including spaces between lines.
-Signature pictures are limited to 450x150 pixels.
-Please try to keep sig pics around 25KB in size.
-Only one signature picture is allowed.
-Negative remarks toward members, sponsors, or businesses are not allowed.
-Please do not link non-sponsor contact information.
-Signatures must meet the PG-13 guideline.

1. This site is rated PG-13. No nudity, links to nudity, or any images of an offensive or sexual nature will be allowed. Racial or Homophobic discussion or comments are strongly discouraged.

2. If you have a dispute with another member of the board, please do so privately using email or Private Messages. Please refrain from open forum personal attacks and flame wars.

3. Vulgar language should be kept to a minimum out of respect for others. If you wouldnt say it to your mother, please don't use it here.

4. Please keep direct linked images to a max of 800x600 pixels. Images larger may be removed and the link left. This really helps the slower conection users.

Site Classified and Sponsor Section Guidelines

1. General Site Guidelines apply here as well.

2. Post Counts are turned off in the classified sections.

3. You need to have accumulated at least 50 posts or have been registered with LS1Tech or PerformanceTrucks.Net for 6 months to post a thread in the classifieds section. This is an effort to curb scamming and help protect our members.

4. Group Purchase threads are ONLY allowed from site sponsors or people representing site sponsors.

5. Non site sponsor group purchases need to be preapproved before posting by site admin.

6. If you have something for sale please start your own thread. Try not to hijack someone elses thread.

7. Please post prices in private party adds.

8. See the Good/Bad seller lists to report your transactions.

Truck Stop and Regional Guielines

1. General Site Guidelines apply here.

2. Please use caution when posting Religious or political threads. These type of threads while interesting to discuss have a tendency degrade into flame wars so they are discouraged.

3. NWS material will be removed. PG-13 please.

4. Smack Talk or Flame War threads are NOT allowed. These type of threads will be removed.

5. This is an off topic area but, threads discussing certain subjects suchs as (but not limited to: sexual relations, politics, religion, personal hygiene, etc, ???) probably won't last long since they tend to degrade quickly.

 

avatars can be 100x120 pixals? it won't let me put one that big, still says 60x60. i guess this is an issue still being worked.
