i might be able to get you guys a free mod?
it has to do with the TM on titans, i know of a person that works for Nissian.
they have narrowed it down to one wire, but it keeps throwing a SES light and then the truck wont crank or do anything. but they put a toggle switch on this wire and he said they could melt the tires like no other!
but wouldnt run but a set number of minutes?
will keep you guys updated when i find out the correct info.

I'd be interested in knowing what they are doing since the line that talks to the tranny chip is a CAN multiplex signal. The computer for the tranny is located on the valve body so I'm not so sure what they are doing. I could always melt my tires by turning off the VDC on it with a switch.

Im not sure what he was talking about, i was just relaying the message.. I do know that they have way to much computer controlled stuff.. He cant even powerbrake his titan, something about the abs or brake controller box, starts pulsating the rear brakes incase it detects wheel spin. I would rather stick with my silverado... He was tellin me that he got a ECM that was messed up that was goin on a export titan, for overseas, they dont have any federal emmisssions and all that stuff. supposed to boost the power way up there... He also said that they Dynoed at 305 rear wheel?? not to sure if i want to believe him...

If he has a XE, then he might not be able to switch off the VDC. The SE and LE have a switch for that. I used to regularly spin mine at the dragstrip for burnouts all the time.
Yeah I wouldn't buy 305 at the wheels. 252-276 is what they get stock, depending on the dyno. Mine was at 282 at the wheels with bolt-ons and 330 with the small shot of nitrous.
Don't worry - I won't shoot the messenger
