Scary Radix and cam numbers
I was running around on the new cam (Thunder Racing CheaTR) and the stock 3.1 pulley, because I din't have time to verify the PE fueling. I finally got around to installing the 2.75 pulley and hooking up the wideband today.
The numbers I'm about to post were logged via hp tuners scanner and, in the past, they have been pretty accurate for my combo.
With thew cam and the 2.75 pulley I'm pulling around 8-8.5 psi boost and logged the following times...
Launching at 2921 rpm on the street
1-2 shift was at 6137 rpm
2-3 shift was at 6186 rpm
0-60....... 5.9 seconds
0-94....... 12.71 seconds
0-95....... 13.14 seconds
0-96....... 13.51 seconds
0-97....... 13.91 seconds
0-98....... 14.34 seconds
Now, I've got no way of knowing what I'll trap in the 1/4 now because the last numbers were always in the 92.5-93 mph range at 14.6 seconds. Any of these numbers present an interesting gain no matter what the outcome Basically in third gear it takes me about 4/10's for every mph I gain.
I expect these numbers to be fairly close to reality because they've always been pretty accurate against my earlier times.
Oh and all numbers were with a full tank of gas so we can look at weight as being in the 6900 lb range. Scary!

Don't have a G-tech. Don't think the numbers are worth much from a G-tech. I only mention these numbers from the HP Tuner datalogger because I've looked at three dragstip runs that I logged before and they match the timeslips perfectly.
I'll be at the track again as soon as possible.
I should have looked at the IAT's but I had another feature turned on instead of the IAT logger. I'd guess that they are a little bit higher than they were with the 2.9 pulley I was running.

For those with a digital gauge I would expect the reading would also flicker back and forth if/when slip occured.
I'll bet those trick pulleys would let you get away with running cheaper belts with no slip issues. For the rest of us it looks like the gatorbacks are the way to go.

are you going to do the same pulley swap I did?
