On my way home from work me and a guy I work with went at it from a 70 roll. He has a 6.0 2500hd crew cab with 4.10s, exhaust and a hypertech. I am completely stock except for efan (now its just quieter not faster) with a 5.3, ecsb, 3.42 rear. We stayed nearly dead even!!! He even started to pull just a hair before I let off at about 90. Didn't think it was gonna be that close.

from what i have noticed, 4.10s in these ls. based engines can help top end instead of hurt it sometimes. These engines make most of there power higher in the powerband anyway. Cammin03 went from 3.42s to 4.10s and his felt much better up top.

I was always under the assumption that the 4.10's gave you more grunt off the line.
I def felt a faster acceleration difference and didnt seem to lose anything up top... but than again, i dont race much over 100-105mph, ive had it a lot higher than that.. but not on the 4.10s yet.
