anyone interested in a turbo R1? It's been sitting in my shop for 4-5 years now and it's time that it goes. Here's what it is.

98-99 R1 frame powder coated blue
01 motor and trans approx 6000 miles
MCEXPRESS turbo kit already installed
Max-V 4-6 adjustable swingarm
euro headlight conversion

It has a few other after market odds and ends.
I recently tried to start it and it wouldn't start. I'm selling it as is with NO TITLE.
I don't have the time or patience to work on it anymore. All reasonable offers will be considered. You could easily part it out and double your money. I need it gone so I can get to work on my car.

I think you have to post a price and trying to a motorcycle on the internet with out a title might not be the best move. Did the owner drop it off and never came to get it? If so I would take the time and file for an abandoned vehicle title just to CYOA. Sounds like a great project that would be a blast. I would be interested if I knew more about it and what you were wanting.

 

I've owned it since probably Nov of 01. Bought the frame seperate from the motor with no title. The frame was purchased from a motorcycle insurance adjuster. I'm pretty confident I could get a salvage title. I just don't have the time to go to the motor vehicle main office and get one.
