I got a Delco part#15200109 150amp DR44G alternator for sale- it's a direct fit/upgrade for the following GM vehicles with the smaller 105amp AD237 series alternator:

I rebuilt the alternator at my shop, replacing the bearings, brushes, and voltage regulator. On the test bench it puts out over 175amps at full load. This alternator will make a good inexpensive upgrade to your truck's charging system, especially if you have added electric cooling fans or a high-output sound system. I have one on my own 2001 GMC Sierra Z71 ECSB 4x4, and it has both the fans and the stereo system and they don't even make this alt. breathe hard.

I'll take $95 SHIPPED for this alternator- I prefer to be paid via PayPal, and I'll need the extra 3% added to the price to cover the PayPal fee.

They usually run strong up to and well after 100K miles.
