Default What the hell happened to pt.net???

I built my first truck when I was 18, I pratically lived on this site. It was blowing up, there was constantly new post and crap to look at I could read this crap for hours. Just got another truck and started getting back on here again and it seems dead? Is it me or did everyone stop getting on here? Is the truck scene over or did everyone just move to another site?

It is the same way on many different sites I feel like(ls1truck, ls1tech, etc) they have all slowed down substantially. A big part is that years ago we were all pushing the sport. Guys like flaco, turbomic, purpleminivan, farmtruc, etc were all breaking records and going huge. Now the limitations of what can be done are making things tough. 8s are what's cool now. 2 years ago it was 9s and 5 years ago 10s were still super fast. Not a lot of records to break anymore. The platforms are getting harder to mod and are changing now. Also a consistently bad economy doesn't help much.

I think PT.net is alive and kicking! Just check out the Projects sub section, there are some badass trucks in there...

I think since the creation of that sub section, alot of the random posts where member try to get help just get entered under thier project thread, instead of out in the open forum..

Old trucks with LS motors with younger groups with the same questions over and over without using the search options. People getting upset with it.

Parish might have set the goals back when now you just have to search what you want to know

You really have to search through the daily posts to find anything good to learn
