Default Plasti-Dip

Im thinking of plasti-dipping the whole truck and the wheels. Anyone has done this? I guess I would have to do the bumpers and mirrors and grill. Post up pics if anyone has done this.

I hate to be a hater but NO more plastidip questions. If your going to do it great, just do it. Then show all of us your awesome flat black or color whatever it is. Plastidip is a very simple product and doesn't need to be over thougt.

If you want to do your whole car I suggest dipyourcar.com I just found out about plasti dipping a whole vehicle the other day by accident and placed my order to dip my truck just to try it for the hell of it. I planned on making a thread when I get done but my color is on back order so watch for it in the future.

Wll it kinda does matter if your going to spend some money on it. Thats like burning money, I mean have you seen a whole truck done before? Ive seen parts and what not, but a whole truck is different. What if I dont like it thats $500 down the drain. Thats the point of this forums.

blakvmax- what color you are going with? This dude at work says he can do my truck for $500 bones. My problem is should I do everything ie- bumpers, grille, and mirrors? or just the body and wheels.

No way in hell some one could do a entire truck and have it all uniform. Not to mention it attracts dust, lint, whatever, is a PITA to get off. Been there done that with a hood.

A guy here locally does the whole car plastidip jobs. They turn out ok but it's nothing I really care for.

I would think it would look very uneven from panel to panel. Kinda like having multiple shades of gray and black. I've messed around with it a little just playing but to me anything larger then a wheel or bumper and its not going to look right.

I wouldn't recommend doing a whole truck. It will always look dirty like mangled03 said. My wheels always had lint and dust on them
