Plasti-dipped the chrome part of my grill and the strip down the side moldings.

Looking good so far. I think I'd loose the side moldings though. Just my opinion. I'd also Plasti-Dip the front bumper, and do something to offset the Bow-tie on the grille. I'm just not a fan of the stock gold bowtie color. I'd do something to make it contrast/stand out.

Where are you at in OR? I was born & raised down there.

IMO, bowtie stands out now, it pops. Normally I don't care if someone's bowtie is gold or body color or not, but for some reason, I'm not feelin the gold w/. the plastidip, so a bowtie changeup of some kind might be somethin to look into. But that's no biggie.

AS for bodyside moldings, any on anyone's vehicle, I can't stand bs moldings. When they're body color yes, they're OK. But truth be told, they really clean up truck when not there & unless you're really need them cause of careless people, remove em.

Roger, I didn't know that. Lucky U.S. (us)!!!

I like the grille, looks better than the chrome,

I do agree on loosing the side moldings, it will look sooo much cleaner.

How does the plasti dip hold up? And does it come in a spray can i assume?

I live in Independence right now. My wife works in Salem and I'm going to OSU. Small town but its quiet and it splits our commutes up nicely.

I'd loose the side moldings but this thing spends a lot of time in parking lots and no matter where you park, the idiots will find you. I've washed the truck several times including twice through an automatic and it still looks the same as day one. Yes It comes in spray can and I hear you can get in in multiple colors.

Does the plastidip really come in spray cans? And itd be nice to have gloss black or charcoal

I like the look better now, but I agree on the bowtie and moldings statements. They were the first to go on my truck!

Looks clean and nice. Don't care for the chrome there either. OTOH, i am not much of a fan of side moldings either. Never seems to look clean with them on.

I wish I could remember where I got my old bow tie emblems from. They were the liquid decals and look pretty amazing, had them on my TBSS. White bow ties = sexy. I am sure someone here will know exactly what I am talking about. They are a cheap, yet dramatic change

Exactly why the moldings are staying on.

Well that's a good reason to keep the moldings. I would just loose the ford... hahaha. Plasti-dip looks good. I would color match the bowtie and plasti-dip the bumper. I just finished using plasti-dip on my Girl's Mazda 3 wheels and emblems. Posted a pic in on the recent plasti-dip posting. Came out great.
