Best way to drop my truck and keep payload capacity?
I've had my truck for 10 years now. It's showing its age and I want to do a makeover. I want to get a new Challenger, but I think I will put it off for a bit and fix up the truck, since I am keeping it anyway.
I want to do a 2/4 or 4/6 (preferred) but keep the ability to carry a load, since I often have equipment or materials back there.
I was thinking maybe a 4/6 like this http://mcgaughys.com/products/deluxe-kit-93017
With these: http://mcgaughys.com/products/rear-a...lper-kit-33024
I want it to be level, or a slight rake is okay, but it's got to carry the load.
My ultimate goal is the drop with 20 inch wheels and a big brake kit
edited for my stupidity
Also, can I use sway bars with a drop like this?

Make sure you read the "Notes" for what you will need that is NOT included in that kit.
Search around with other vendors/distributors to see if there is a more complete kit available. Some other brands may have everything included with there kits.
The helper bags make it all possible, haha.
Sway bars will work, you will have to get new end links.

I dropped my Avalanche 2/4 and used the rubber donuts in the back to bring it to 2/3. The springs are marginally stiffer, but it doesn't drag or sit on the bump stops with 600lb of crap in the back. I used eBay drop shackles and Hellwig sway bars. The Hellwig kit came with the adjustable end links.

I ordered the following:
CalTracs with their drop hangers
McGaughys spindles
McGaughys bump stops
McGaughys center carrier relocation bracket
Belltech Street Performance shocks
Hellwig front and rear sway bars
Air Ride helper bags
Air Ride on board compressor kit
Next will be TruTrac and 4.11s, then cam and heads. I have been waiting to do this for a long time, I finally can afford the time and parts. I'm pretty pumped.
I am keeping the stock wheels for now, I just ordered some Nitto 420s 275/60/17s.
