Got walked bad
Coming home today and got behind another Toyota Tundra 5.7, except it was an extended cab version. Well we both get on it about the same time, and he just walked me bad all the way to the governor at 115. Dont know what he had done to it or if it was stock. My truck is a crewmax on some heavy LT 10ply oversized all terrains, and he was extended cab on street tires, so a little weight difference, but sure didn't expect the four or five trucks he put on me though LOL.

I just bought a 15 tundra crewmax 2wd for a daily, and its damn quick for stock. Im sure the 6speed auto and 4.30 gears help that out. I want to run mine, and im pretty sure it will run mid 14s. My buddy from work and I were fooling around a little, he has 3000gt vr4, the twin turbo awd one. He has ran a best of 13.8 at 98, but runs mostly 14.1s. From a dig he got 2 cars, but didnt pull after that, then from a 40 roll, they stayed dead even.

I have a 2015 Tundra double cab that's just an SR5 TRD. It's a 5.7 and 4.30's. It's meh performance wise..... either of my 6.2 F150's spank it hard even stock for stock. The XLT I have basically is bone stock and it's just 3.55 gears to boot. The Tundra really falls on its face on shifts honestly and that was with the stock tires on it. Now it has the same size but 10 ply BF KO2's so I imagine that won't help things but honestly driving it right before and after I can't tell any performance difference. We lost a stock Michelin at a whopping 1500 miles..... but roads covered in pit run do that to P rated tires. I mean it's not a dog at all, plus it's a really nice truck to drive. I also think it would run circles around pretty well any stock GM truck it came across but I don't find it all that spectacular either. It's good enough for my apprentice to drive around as a work rig though lol and I didn't buy it to race it.... or even drive it, lol. I never see it unless I am at work lol. I'm just hoping the supposed reliability is all that and I can get a decent service life out of it.

I never drive with traction control enabled and it's still slow in my opinion lol. Traction on or off the truck still drives exactly the same in my opinion. I never have tried the sequential shift thing though so maybe that would help it out. One of these days I might try it again.... but it has no hope in hell against either of my Fords lol. I didn't buy it because I thought it was fast...
