Default Titan picked on the 4.8

So im going home and there is a titan with a sticker on the side advertising some kind of business so I didnt think anything of it. I took off from a red light and he gets next to me and floors it and so do I and I was in shock that we were even. so we get another red light and I roll my window down and tell him to pull in to the gas station. he pops his hood and this is what I see.

I forgot what kind of sc i think its a stillen? or something like that. anyways he tells me its all built up and stuff so I said lets race. from dead stop he got me off the line cause I spun like a little bitch and he ended up getting me by a truck. we did a 30 too and on the 3rd honk he put a truck on me but I pulled up even to him at about 50 and stayed even with him till about 80 and he let off. I was really in shock that he didnt dust my ***. I thought a supercharged titan would be a little faster than that?? should get some vids here pretty soon of another run but this time I will be on good tires/rims

Nice run man. I would have thought that the titan would have pulled. That lil 4.8 you have can run!

the best times in titans have come from cams. For some reason they never got the kinks worked out of that stillen charger. Then there was issues with the transmissions not being able to handle them. There is one titan i know of with a stillen blower and full bolts ons thats putting out like 430 to the wheels. Track times are coming soon i hear.

Those 5.6's are very close to GM 6.0s mod for mod. There are a few into the 12's with just cams stall and bolt ons. but really expensive.

there was a stock rcsb tundra spraying a 125 shot and hit 7's in the 1/8th a few weeks ago. Im probably also gonna go the N2O route but probably no more than a 50-75 shot.

Titans do have a bigger aftermarket and tuning capabilities. We dont.

Your truck looks pretty sick though man!

I tried it and had it customed tuned. Picked up 17hp and 20tq but none of that improved track times. It took a crap on me twice. So it's now in a box under my bed. Quality sucks and seems like everyone who uses it at the track says the same thing about great dyno numbers but no improvements in ET's or trap speeds. These Toyota ecu's are super sensitive to changes and compensate fast.
